Our policies are some of the most customer oriented and flexible contracts in the industry. There is no interest or finance charge on our contract. We do not inflate or raise the prices of instruments for rent. Our mission is to provide better quality, well-adjusted instruments at lower prices to allow students to have a more enjoyable learning experience.

Our rentals start at $15.00 a month (plus M&R). Under our rent-to-own program, 100% of the monthly rental payments are applied toward the purchase of the instrument (less M&R) for the duration of the rental period. The contract is based on a period of 6-36 months. (Note: The contract may be less than 36 months based on the price of the instrument chosen). Short term rentals are also available on a month to month basis. Instruments can be returned at any time after the initial 6 months of the contract are fulfilled.

Auto Billing- This is an automatic transaction completed on the first of each month. We accept Visa, Master Card, and Discover credit and debit cards. The account will be billed until the instrument is paid in full or returned. There is a 10% security deposit with this method of payment.

* Rental payments are due on the 1 st of every month
* Payments received after the 7 th of the month will incur a $10 late fee
* If your method of payment or credit card account number changes, we must be notified immediately to avoid late fees on the account
* Security deposits can be applied to the remaining balance if the customer chooses to purchase the instrument. Otherwise it will be returned, provided that the instrument is returned in the same condition as when it was rented and rental payments are up to date.

When the student is ready for the next size or a more advanced instrument, the customer may upgrade their rental. Up to six months of past rental payments (less M&R and tax) can be applied toward the new rental balance.

Customers can receive a 10% discount off the remaining balance should they decide to pay off the instrument early. Atlantic Strings, Inc. is owned and operated by luthiers (violin makers) and local musicians. We specialize only in bowed stringed instruments and set up and adjust each instrument in house for the best sound and playability.
