Description

Wenzel Fuchs came from a family of instrument makers in Czechoslovakia. He and his family were forced out of their country during the Second World War and settled in the Franconian region of Germany, where he continued to make instruments.
This violin was handmade circa 1950 in Eltersdorf near Erlangen, Germany and is in excellent original condition.
