Very transparent sound, color, and texture with unmatched dynamic response both arco and pizzicato. The Realist sounds more like the instrument it is amplifying than any other pickup on the market. No need to re-attenuate amp settings between arco and pizz. It requires a simple installation you can do in your own home, but Atlantic Strings is very happy to install the pick up for free. No change to the instrument required.
Transducer for viola, black-wrapped copper element, 1/4″ clamp-on jack.
Recommended for players who use wireless systems. Standard input makes it easier to find patch cables.
