Pirastro Passione violin strings are finely wound and polished, traditionally handmade gut strings with a sheep gut core. Unlike many gut strings, this string has a significantly reduced playing-in time and increased tuning stability. Passione strings offer a full, round core sound and complex overtone spectrum causing brilliance, clarity and a great power of projection. The standard set includes  E-Silvery Steel 26,  A-aluminum 13 1/2, D-silver 13 1/2, and G-silver 16 1/2.
