Description
John Norwood lee is American Luthier that operates in Chicago, Illinois. John’s first apprenticeship started in 1977 under Bill Webster at the Bein and Fushi shop in Chicago, where he initially focused on instrument repair. After learning how to rehair bows with Manfred Reinl, John was sent to Arnold Bone in Boston for training in bow restoration. By the end of 1977, John started experimenting with making his own bows. He spent the next few years servicing bows Bein and Fushi. Received a VSA gold medal for workmanship in 1982.
This silver mount bow has a flexible, octagonal stick, and is fit with a leather/silk wrap.
