Description
The Hill & Sons firm started in 1880 by William Ebsworth Hill and remains one of the most respected and well known firms on the planet dominating the fine instrument and bow market in the late 19th – early 20th century. Employing many well regarded makers such as James Tubbs, Samuel Allen, and William Retford, The Hill firm was known for crafting bows with the best materials available, showing excellent consistency, precise and clean detail work.
This particular bow was made by bowmaker Brian Alvey. Nickel mount mount bow with solid button.
