This gorgeous 1931 Blondelet French violin has a sweet but bold tone. A fully handmade french instrument made at the master level of the JTL workshop.
Very nice original condition showing some signs of use but no repairs. Expertly setup by our master luthiers in house.
Hughes Emile Blondelet was born in 1875. At the young age of 15, he joined the Thibouville-Lamy(JTL) Workshop in Mirecourt. He quickly made a name for himself due to his excellent workmanship. By the age of 33, he was appointed co-director of the JTL firm. Later on in his life he owned his workshop in Mirecourt, and produced many instruments that now hold great value.
A fully handmade French instrument made at the Master level of JTL workshop. Despite being nearly a century old, it is in excellent original condition. This gorgeous Blondelet has a sweet but bold tone, and is a fantastic example of a Blondelet.
