Description
Arnold Voigt was a German luthier born in 1864, who made instruments as well as bows. His apprenticeship started early with Heinrich T. Heberlein, and went on to start his own shop in Markneukirchen. He resided there from 1890, to his death in 1952. Described by Henley as “…as expert bowmaker. Faithful representations of celebrated models worked with artistic eyes”
This bow has a chocolate brown stick, with a fine silver mount frog fit with a mother of pearl slide and eyes.
