Vintage French violin made in Paris in 1948 by Daniel Moinel


Successor to the Moinel-Cherpitel Workshop and Son of Charles Moinel, a pupil of Emile Germain. He began his apprenticeship in Mirecourt under his uncle Louis Cherpitel before finishing his training under his father. In 1934 he established his own workshop in Paris, where he continued to work for the rest of his career.
