Natale Novelli was an Italian violin maker born in Italy in 1908. Novelli was the nephew and pupil of Guiseppe Pedrazzini and worked in Pedrazzini’s workshop in Milan. Novelli’s style bears a resemblance to the work of his uncle. During his time working in Pedrazzini’s shop, Novelli produced some of his best instruments, which now hold great value. This violin is an excellent example of Novelli’s fine craftsmanship, attention to detail and sonorous tone.
