Vintage violin by French maker, Jean Striebig, apprentice to Leon Mougenot and Amédée Dieudonné.
Jean Striebig was born in Mirecourt, France in 1910. He served his apprenticeship with Leon Mougenot and Amédée Dieudonné, before joining the workshop of Millant-Deroux in Paris in 1927. In 1935 he established his own workshop in Mirecourt and worked there until the end of the 1950’s.
