1921 Albert Knorr (Heinrich Heberlein)


Antique German violin made in Markneukirchen late 1800’s by Heinrich Theodore Heberlein Jr. who studied under; Carl August Heberlein, Ludwig Bausch and August Reicher.


Heinrich Theodore Heberlein Jr. Born in Germany in 1843, was one of the best Markneukirchen makers of his time and is the most famous member of the Heberlein family. Originally studying under his father, Carl August Heberlein, he later continued his studies under Ludwig Bausch and August Reicher. In 1863, he established his own workshop, where he worked for over 30 years.
