Description
Caspar Strnad was born in 1752 and studied under renowned maker Tomáš Hulinsky in Prague. Henley speaks highly of Strnad and describes his work as the “complete embodiment of strength and refinement in the design” and “everything very ingeniously harmonised”. Breaking away from the other makers at Prague, who closely followed Stainer’s model, Strnad chose to somewhat follow the trends of the Cremonese. Extraordinary example of sound and playability of his work.
